BECOME A PILOT PROJECT

WHAT IS A PILOT PROJECT?

IS MY ORGANIZATION A GOOD FIT?

WHAT DOES BETA MEAN?

Pilot Projects are conservation organizations that will be testing the Key Conservation app in the field before it becomes readily available to the rest of the world. Pilot Projects and Beta Testers will give us valuable feedback on what is working and what needs improved.

Beta app is a term used to describe an app that is still being developed and tested. The Beta version of the app undergoes many changes before the final version is released. Beta Testers are supporters who help test the app while it is in its Beta stage. Beta Testers will be working closely with Pilot Projects to ensure the app runs smoothly in both the field and on the go.

Organizations must be a registered charity, nonprofit or NGO working to help threatened and endangered species. Organizations focusing on plants and ecosystems are also encouraged to apply. Pilot Projects must have a smartphone, have internet availability and be willing to give feedback on the app as they use it and share their journey with Key Conservation supporters.

Some of the benefits that come with being a Key Conservation Pilot Project:

Early access to the Key Conservation app and new features.

Assigned project manager for every Conservation Organization to assist with on-boarding to the app, team training and continued support.

Potential increase in visibility, funding and support by being on the app and being featured through various Key Conservation outreach initiatives.

Sign-ups to become a Pilot Project is now CLOSED.

But you haven't missed out! We are currently taking applications from conservation organizations who want to be on the Key Conservation app when it goes live. Apply below!
